ਆਸਟਰੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ
ਆਸਟਰੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਬਹੁਤ ਛੋਟੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਹੈ। ਆਸਟਰੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 9,000 ਸਿੱਖ ਹਨ। [1] 2012 ਤੱਕ ਆਸਟਰੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਸਨ। [2]
2009 ਵਿੱਚ, ਰਵਿਦਾਸੀਆ -ਸੰਪਰਦਾ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਰਾਮਾਨੰਦ ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। [3] ਆਸਟਰੀਆ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਹੁਣ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਧਰਮ ਹੈ। ਆਸਟਰੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਆਬਾਦੀ ਹੁਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਨਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਵਰਤ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। [4]
