ਫਰਾਇਡਰਿਚ ਮੈਕਸ ਮੂਲਰ(6 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1823 - 28 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 1900 ) ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ਮੈਕਸ ਮੂਲਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਜਰਮਨ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਫੀਲੋਲੋਜਿਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਓਰੀਏਨਟੇਲਿਸਟ ਸੀ,ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਾਰ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਰਤਾਨੀਆ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਵੀ ਬਰਤਾਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ।.ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ''[[ਰਿਗ ਵੇਦਾ]]'' ਕਿਤਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਗ੍ਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕੀਤਾ।
