<ref>{{cite book |last=Smith |first=Vincent Arthur |author-link=Vincent Arthur Smith |year=1958 |orig-year=First published 1917 |title=Akbar: The Great Mogul 1542–1605 |url=https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.499248/page/n37/mode/1up |edition=2nd |publisher=[[S. ਅਕਬਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੂਆ, ਗੁਲਬਦਨ ਬੇਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੁਮਾਯੂੰ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨੀ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੁਮਾਯੂੰ ਨਾਮ (ਜਾਂ ਹੁਮਾਯੂੰ-ਨਾਮਾ), ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ।
