ਵੇਲ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬੂਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹਦੀ ਵਧਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਮਕਣ ਜਾਂ ਝੂਲਣ ਦੀ ਆਦਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਦੀਆਂ ਟਾਹਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਗੋ-ਅੱਗੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।[1][2]
