ਹੂਸਟਨ (/[invalid input: 'icon']ˈhjuːstən/) ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦਾ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਕਸਸ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ। ੨੦੧੦ ਦੀ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਮਰਦਮਸ਼ੁਮਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ ੨੧ ਲੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਰਫਲ ੫੯੯.੬ ਵਰਗ ਕਿ.ਮੀ. ਹੈ।[1][5] ਹੂਸਟਨ ਹੈਰਿਸ ਕਾਊਂਟੀ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੂਸਟਨ-ਦਾ ਵੁੱਡਲੈਂਡਜ਼-ਸ਼ੂਗਰ ਲੈਂਡ ਮਹਾਂਨਗਰੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦਾ ਆਰਥਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਮਹਾਂਨਗਰੀ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ ੬੦ ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹੈ।[6]
