ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ

ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ[1][2] ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਮਣੀਪੁਰ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਫਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਕਿਲਾਬੰਦ ਮਹਿਲ ਹੈ।[3][4][5] ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇੰਫਾਲ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਦੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪਾਸੇ (ਪੱਛਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ) ਸਥਿਤ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਪਾਸੇ ਖੰਡਰ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਚਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਮੇਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ "ਸੁੱਕੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਹਿੱਸਾ"।[6] ਇਹ ਮਣੀਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਮੇਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਥਾਂ ਸੀ।[7][8]

ਕਾਂਗਲਾ (ਇੰਫਾਲ) ਪੂਰਵ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਮਣੀਪੁਰ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਸੀ। ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਮਨੀਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ।

ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਸੋਧੋ

ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਨਿੰਗਥੌਜਾ ਰਾਜਵੰਸ਼ (33 CE ਤੋਂ 1891 CE) ਦੇ ਮੇਤੇਈ ਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਸੀ।[9]

ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਬਰੀਕੇਟ ਹੈ, "ਇੰਫਾਲ ਦੇ ਫੇਫੜੇ" ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਜੰਗਲ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮਣੀਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਆਕਸੀਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।[10][11][12] ਬਦਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ, ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੁਝ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਪਰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਟਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।

2019 ਦੇ ਸਤੰਬਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਸੰਪਾਦਕੀ ਬੋਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਖਬਾਰ "ਦਿ ਸੰਗਾਈ ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈਸ" (ਟੀਐਸਈ) ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੇਓਕਫਾ, ਅਗਰ, ਅਨਿੰਗਥੂ, ਟੀਕ, ਚਹੂਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਂਬਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਲਗਭਗ 120 ਰੁੱਖ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਮਨੀਪੁਰ ਦਾ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ, ਇਸਦੇ 20ਵੇਂ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦਿਵਸ 'ਤੇ। [13] [14]

There's another garden named "Engellei Leikol" (formerly known as "Rock Garden" of the Kangla) located in the southern part of the Kangla.[15][16][17]

2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਮਈ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ਼ ਬਾਇਓਰਿਸੋਰਸਸ ਐਂਡ ਸਸਟੇਨੇਬਲ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਗਭਗ 50 ਫਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ।[18][19][20]

ਮਨੀਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੋਂਗਥੋਮਬਮ ਬੀਰੇਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਫੋਰਟ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਾਂਗਲਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਫਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ 10,000 ਬੂਟੇ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਹੈ।[21][22]
