ਸਧਾਰਨ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ
ਸਧਾਰਨ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ[1] ਉਸ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਧਾਨਸਭਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਬਲਕਿ ਇਸ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਜਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਸੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ[2]। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਫੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਤੋਰ ਤੇ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿਲਦੇ-ਜੁਲਦੇ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਫੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਨਵੇਂ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਸੁਣਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
