ਚਾਡ ਝੀਲ

ਚਾਡ ਝੀਲ (English: Lake Chad) ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਝੀਲ 4 ਦੇਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ 2 ਕਰੋੜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੀਣ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਚਾਰੀ ਨਦੀ ਚਾਡ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਸਰੋਤ ਹੈ। ਚਾਡ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੀ ਅਫਰੀਕੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਚਾਡ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ।
