ਚੰਦੂ ਚੇਕਾਵਰ ( ਚਥੀਅਨ ਛੰਤੂ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਚੰਦੂ ਪਨੀਕਰ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ[1] ), ਹਿੰਦੂ ਥਿਯਾਰ ਜਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਚੇਕਾਵਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦਾ ਯੋਧਾ ਸੀ,[2] ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਕੇਰਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਡੱਕਨ ਪੱਟੂਕਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਕੇਰਲ ਦੇ ਕਦਾਥਾਨਾਡ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਥਿਯਾਰ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹੈ।[3][4][5]

- 1989 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਲਿਆਲਮ ਫਿਲਮ ਓਰੂ ਵਡੱਕਨ ਵੀਰਗਾਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ, ਚੰਦੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮੂਟੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।[6][7]
- ਦੇਵਨ ਨੇ 2002 ਦੀ ਮਲਿਆਲਮ ਫਿਲਮ ਪੁਥੂਰਾਮਪੁਥਰੀ ਉਨਿਆਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਠਿਆਨ ਚੰਦੂ ਚੇਕਾਵਰ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
- ਕੁਣਾਲ ਕਪੂਰ ਨੇ 2016 ਦੀ ਮਲਿਆਲਮ ਫਿਲਮ 'ਵੀਰਮ' ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਦੂ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਸੀ।[8][9]
