ਯਥਾਰਥ, ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਵਜੂਦ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜੋ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਹੈ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ।^[1]
