ਸਹਾਰਨਪੁਰ
ਸਹਾਰਨਪੁਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਰਨਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਹਾਰਨਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵੀ ਹੈ।[1][2]
ਸਹਾਰਨਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੰਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਚਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ 'ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[3]
ਸਹਾਰਨਪੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਸਿਟੀਜ਼ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਵਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ 100 ਸਮਾਰਟ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
