ਅਰਸ਼ਦ ਵਾਰਸੀ (ਜਨਮ 19 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1968) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਹੈ।[1][2] ਉਸਨੇ 1996 ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਪਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, 'ਤੇ ਇਹ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਾਸ-ਰਸ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਮੁੰਨਾ ਭਾਈ ਐਮ.ਬੀ.ਬੀ.ਐੱਸ. ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਿਟ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਛਾਣ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਲਗੇ ਰਹੋ ਮੁੰਨਾ ਭਾਈ (2006) & ਹਾਸ-ਰਸ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ "ਗੋਲਮਾਲ" ਵਿੱਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਗੋਲਮਾਲ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਮਾਧਵ ਨਾਂਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਲਗੇ ਰਹੋ ਮੁੰਨਾ ਭਾਈ ਲਈ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਕੌਮਿਕ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਫੇਅਰ ਇਨਾਮ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਹ 2010 ਦੀ ਇਸ਼ਕੀਆ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਬਨ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਡੇਢ ਇਸ਼ਕੀਆ (2014) ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ 2013 ਦੀ ਜੌਲੀ ਐਲਐਲਬੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਬਿਹਤਰੀਨ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਵਾਰਸੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਅਲੀ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮਹਾਂਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ਼ਿਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਬਰਨੇਸ ਸਕੂਲ, ਦਿਓਲਾਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਬੋਰਡਿੰਗ ਸਕੂਲ ਸੀ। [3] 14 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫੀ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ।[4] ਉਸਨੇ 10ਵੀਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਕੂਲ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।[5]

ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੋਧੋ

ਵਾਰਸੀ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸਨੂੰ 17 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਵੇਚਣਾ ਪਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੇ ਫੋਟੋ ਲੈਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੀ ਨੱਚਣਾ ਉਸਦੀ ਰੂਚੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਅਕਬਰ ਸਾਮੀ ਦੇ ਡਾਂਸ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨਾਲ ਰਲ ਗਿਆ।

ਫਿਰ 1991 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਚ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਡਰਨ ਜੈਜ਼ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਉਸਨੇ 1992 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਨਾਚ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ, ਲੰਡਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ 21 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ। ਫਿਰ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਚ ਸਟੂਡੀਓ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ "ਔਸਮ" ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੀਆ ਗੋਰੇਤੀ ਮਿਲੀ। ਉਹ ਸੈਂਟ ਐਂਡਰਿਊ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਸੀ।

ਵਾਰਸੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ 14 ਫਰਵਰੀ 1999 ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਮਾਰੀਆ ਗੁਰੇਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। 10 ਅਗਸਤ 2004 ਨੂੰ ਓਨ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਜ਼ੈਕੇ ਵਾਰਸੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਮਾਰੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੈਕੇ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸਲਾਮ ਨਮਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਫਿਰ 2 ਮਈ 2007 ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਲਡ਼ਕੀ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਜ਼ੈਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਏ ਵਾਰਸੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਆਪਣੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਾਰਸੀ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦਾ ਜਿੰਮਨਾਸਟ ਸੀ।[6]
