ਇਨਸ਼ੁਰੈਂਸ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਓਫ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ (ਆਈਸੀਬੀਸੀ) ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਕਰਾਊਨ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਮੀਅਰ ਡੇਵ ਬੈਰੇਟ ਦੀ ਐਨਡੀਪੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ 1973 ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਆਈਸੀਬੀਸੀ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਰ-ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਰਵ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਫਾਇਤੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਜਨਤਕ ਆਟੋ ਬੀਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ।[1][2]
