ਜਨਾਨੀ (ਅੰਗ੍ਰੇਜ਼ੀ: Janani; ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਨਾਨੀ ਅਈਅਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਤਾਮਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਿਆਲਮ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। [1] ਉਸਨੇ ਤਾਮਿਲ ਫੀਚਰ ਫਿਲਮ ਅਵਾਨ ਇਵਾਨ (2011) ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਿਕ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[2] ਥੀਗਿਡੀ (2014) ਅਤੇ 7ਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ (2014) ਸਮੇਤ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਹਨ ।[3] ਉਹ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਿਤ ਰਿਐਲਿਟੀ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਬਿੱਗ ਬੌਸ ਤਮਿਲ 2 ਦੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਰਨਰ ਅੱਪ ਹੈ।

ਜਨਨੀ ਅਈਅਰ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਚੇਨਈ, ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਥੀਵੱਕਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਗੋਪਾਲਪੁਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੀਥਾ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਕਾਲਜ, ਚੇਨਈ ਤੋਂ ਬੀਈ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੀ।[4][5] ਆਪਣੀ ਅੰਡਰਗਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸਨੇ ਵੋਲੋਂਗੋਂਗ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਵਾਨ ਇਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਸਟ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ।[6] 2014 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਜਾਤੀ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਅਈਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।[7]
