Dr.Michael Rabe has given full and explicit permission to utilize that photograph of Simhavisnu, which he took in the Adivarahamandapam, Mamallapuram. He estimates the sculpture panel's date to late in the reign of his grandson, Narasimhavarman Mahamalla (630-668).
