ਨਾਓਮੀ ਗਾਲ
ਨਾਓਮੀ ਗਾਲ (ਇਬਰਾਨੀ נעמי גל) (ਬੀ.ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, 1944) ਇੱਕ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਇਲੀ ਲੇਖਕ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਵਲ ਰੋਮਨ ਰੋਮਾਂਤੀ (רומן רומנטי) (ਤਲ ਅਵੀਵ 1993, 2011 ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਬਤੌਰ ਸੋਪ ਓਪੇਰਾ) ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ ਇਬਰਾਨੀ ਵਰਜਨ ਨੇ 1994 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਲਈ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।[1] 1999 ਵਿੱਚ ਏਰੀਅਲ, ਇੱਕ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ-ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਈਲ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਰਸਾਲਾ, "ਅੱਜ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਈਲੀ ਲੇਖਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੋਹਰੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ" ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈਮ ਬੇਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਨ ਤਸਾਲਕਾ ਨਾਲ ਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਣਿਆ।[2] ਨਾਵਲ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਲਿਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗਾਲ ਨੇ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਇਲੀ ਟੈਲੀਵਿਜ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ 'ਮਾ'ਅਰਿਵ' ਅਤੇ 'ਯੇਡੀਓਤ ਅਹਰੋਨੋਟ' ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰੀਬ ਦੋ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਆਲੋਚਕ ਅਤੇ ਫੂਡ ਲੇਖਕ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੋਰਾਵੀਅਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਬੇਥਲੇਹਮ, ਪੈਨਸਿਲਵੇਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਹੈ।[3] ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਰੀਵਾਦੀ ਲੇਖਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੀ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[4]
