ਮੀਆ ਮਿੰਗਸ ਇੱਕ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਲੇਖਕ, ਸਿੱਖਿਅਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਿਉਨਿਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਅਪਾਹਜਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।[1][2][3][4][5] ਉਹ ਅਪਾਹਜਤਾ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਐਨ[6][7][8] ਅਤੇ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੰਗਤਾ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਾਸ਼ੀਏ 'ਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਜ਼ਰਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੇਂਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।[9]
