ਸਲਾਈ (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ: ਸਲਾਈ )ਨੂੰ ਬਾਜ( ਪੰਜਾਬੀ : ਬਾਜ) ਵਜੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਦਸਤਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੂਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੱਗ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਹਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[1][2][3][4] ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਲਾਈ ਸੂਈਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

Baaj is 10cm long hair pin used to secure loose or short dreads from popping out of the turban and also, to straighten the drapes (Ladh) of the turban. The pin is then inserted into the drapes, kept concealed and is taken out only if there's a need to fix up the turban.
