ਸ਼ਮਸ ਉਨ ਨਿਸਾ
ਸ਼ਮਸ-ਉਨ-ਨਿਸਾ ਮੇਮਨ (ਅੰਗ੍ਰੇਜ਼ੀ: Shamas-un-Nisa Memon; Urdu: شمس النساء میمن) ਇੱਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅਗਸਤ 2018 ਤੋਂ ਅਗਸਤ 2023 ਤੱਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਦਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਹ ਅਗਸਤ 2013 ਤੋਂ ਮਈ 2018 ਤੱਕ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਦੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੀ।

ਸ਼ਮਸ-ਉਨ-ਨਿਸਾ ਅਗਸਤ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਉਪ-ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਣ ਖੇਤਰ NA-237 (ਠੱਟਾ-1) ਤੋਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਪੀਪਲਜ਼ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਪੀਪੀਪੀ) ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਦੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[1][2][3][4][5] ਉਸਨੇ 84,819 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਲੀਗ (ਐਨ) (ਪੀਐਮਐਲ-ਐਨ) ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਸਈਅਦ ਰਿਆਜ਼ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ।[6] ਮਈ 2013 ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਦਿਕ ਅਲੀ ਮੇਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਹਰੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਕੇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਅਹੁਦੇ 'ਤੇ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਅਯੋਗ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਸੀਟ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[7]
ਉਹ 2018 ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਆਮ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਣ ਖੇਤਰ NA-232 (ਠੱਟਾ) ਤੋਂ ਪੀਪੀਪੀ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਚੁਣੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[8]
