ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜਲੋਟਾ (ਜਨਮ 26 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1993) ਇੱਕ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਜੋ 2019 ਤੋਂ ਬੀਬੀਸੀ ਸੋਪ ਓਪੇਰਾ ਈਸਟਐਂਡਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿੰਨੀ ਪਨੇਸਰ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਸੋਧੋਜਲੋਟਾ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 26 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1993 ਨੂੰ ਕਿੰਗਸਟਨ ਓਨ ਟੇਮਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[1] ਉਸਨੇ ਰਿਚਮੰਡ ਡਰਾਮਾ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਾਮੇ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਦੋਸਤ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਯੂਥ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਸਟੇਜ ਪ੍ਰੋਡਕਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਮਗ੍ਰਾਉਨ: ਇੱਕ ਸੱਚੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ।[1] ਜਲੋਟਾ ਨੇ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਕਬੂਤਰ ਇੰਗਲਿਸ਼, ਰੋਮੀਓ ਅਤੇ ਜੂਲੀਅਟ, ਡੀਐਨਏ, ਦ ਗ੍ਰੇਪਸ ਆਫ਼ ਰੈਥ, ਮਦਰ ਕਰੇਜ ਐਂਡ ਹਰ ਚਿਲਡਰਨ, ਕੈਟੇਲਿਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਪੀ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਸਟੇਜ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ।[2] 2016 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਹੈਵੀ ਵੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਜਿਮ-ਗੋਅਰ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਆਪਣੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[3] 2018 ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਲੋਟਾ ਨੇ ਨਾਟਕ 'ਦਿ ਕਰੀਅਸ ਇਨਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਆਫ਼ ਦ ਡੌਗ ਇਨ ਦ ਨਾਈਟ-ਟਾਈਮ' ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਟੋਫਰ ਬੂਨ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼-ਏਸ਼ੀਅਨ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।[4] ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਸਟਿੰਗ ਬਾਰੇ, ਜਲੋਟਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ "ਸਟੈਂਡਰਡ BAME ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਾਹਤ ਮਿਲੀ" ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ "ਵਧੇਰੇ ਫਲਦਾਇਕ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ [ਉਸਦੀ] ਨਸਲ ਨਾਲ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਵੀ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।"[5]
2019 ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਲੋਟਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਬੀਸੀ ਸੋਪ ਓਪੇਰਾ ਈਸਟਐਂਡਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਨੇਸਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਭਰਾ ਵਿੰਨੀ ਪਨੇਸਰ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[6][7] ਉਸਨੇ 29 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਖੀਰਤ (ਜਾਜ਼ ਦਿਓਲ) ਅਤੇ ਜਗਸ (ਅਮਰ ਅਦਤੀਆ) ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ। ਆਪਣੀ ਔਨ-ਸਕ੍ਰੀਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[8][9] ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੇ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੌਟੀ ਕਾਟਨ (ਮਿਲੀ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ) ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਸੂਕੀ (ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸੋਪਾਲ) ਅਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ (ਨਵੀਨ ਚੌਧਰੀ) ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।[10][11][12][13]
