ਹਾਊਲਾ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਸੀਰੀਆਈ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਜੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ 25 ਮਈ, 2012 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ ਇੱਕ ਹਮਲਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਹਮਲਾ ਸੀਰੀਆ ਦੇ ਹਾਊਲਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਲੇਦੂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ। ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਹਮਲਾ ਸ਼ਾਬੀਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਰੀਆ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਸ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ 108 ਲੋਕ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 34 ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ 49 ਬੱਚੇ ਸਨ, ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ।

ਸੀਰੀਆਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਹਮਲਾ ਆਤੰਕਵਾਦੀ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਲ-ਕਾਇਦਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਹਾਊਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਮ ਜਨਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਭਾਵ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਉਠਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ.[3][4]। ਇਸ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਨੂੰ “ਫ੍ਰੈਂਕਫਰਟਰ ਆਲਜੀਮੇਨ ਜ਼ੀਤੁਗ” (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਹੋਰ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਸਤ, 2012 ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ।[5][6][7][8][9][10]
