'''ਅਲਤਾਮਿਰਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਫਾ''' [[ਸਪੇਨ]] ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅਪਰ ਪੈਲੀਓਲਿਥਿਕ ਗੁਫਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਗੁਫਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੀ ਚਿੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।<ref name=molbio_bison>{{cite journal|last=Verkaar|first=E.
