ਬਿਰਸਾ ਅੰਬੇਦਕਰ ਫੂਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ
ਬਿਰਸਾ ਅੰਬੇਦਕਰ ਫੁਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਂ ਬਾਪਸਾ, ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਗਠਨ 15 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2014,[1] ਨੂੰ ਬਿਰਸਾ ਮੰਡਾ ਦੀ ਜਨਮ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਹੈ।[2][3] ਇਸ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਛੜੀਆਂ ਜਾਤਾਂ, ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਕਬੀਲਿਆਂ, ਮੁਸਲਿਮ, ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ, ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੂਰਬ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ LGBT ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।[4][5] ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਸਟ 'ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਵਾਦ' ਨੂੰ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ, ਦੋਨੋਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਤ ਦੇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੇਲ੍ਹ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।[6] 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਐਨਐਸਯੂ ਚੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਪਸਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਸੋਨਪਿੰਪਲ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਪੁਨਾਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਖੱਬੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ 1954 ਵੋਟ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 1545 ਵੋਟ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। [7] ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਬਾਪਸਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ 2015 ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ, ਚਿੰਨਮਈਆ ਮਹਾਨੰਦ ਦੀਆਂ 300 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਵੋਟ ਨਾਲੋਂ 500% ਵੋਟ ਵੱਧ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ।[8]
